What is Stevia?
Stevia is an herb, cultivated primarily in Paraquay, Brizil, Japan & China. It has
been successfully grown in California & the South of England on a smaller scale.
Stevia, or (Stevia Rebaudiana Bertoni) is a natural alternative to chemically-derived
artificial sweeteners. It is an herb, native to the rain forests of South America and
part of the Compositae (daisy) family. It's leaves hold it's sweetness-each leaf
being approximately 30 times sweetener than sugar.
